As part of an NHS audit into Parental Responsibility in an NHS Hospital Trust and Dental Practice, we created waiting-room posters and informative leaflets explaining to patients what Parental Responsibility means.
Parental Responsibility can be a grey and complex area for some families. To combat this, the leaflet was designed to be as clear as possible with the inclusion of a flow-diagram for patients and medical professionals to refer to.
Addressing sensitive subjects
Gentle, safe, and trustworthy
Confirming the parental responsibility of an attending adult could be a sensitive subject, so we felt a calm and trustworthy poster for patients prior to their appointment would reassure them of the ongoing audit.
